PAOLO URFER

Paolo Urfer (born 1975) is a Swiss citizen, educated and trained in business, sales, marketing and banking in Switzerland. Starting in the year 2000, he has dedicated his career to the football industry beginning as a free-lance talent scout in South America and concurrently working for several european clubs. Working in the swiss professional football league, he was hired as a sports director and general manager by FC Sion (2005 - 3 seasons) and FC Neuchâtel Xamax (2009 - 2 Seasons). He also worked as a consultant for the FC Grasshopper Zurich transfers committee (2008).

At the beginning of the year 2012 Paolo Urfer became an independent entrepreneur in the football market, acting internationally as a consultant for numerous clubs, agents, law offices, especially in the top 5 european leagues and in the East European markets, specializing in recruitment and transfer operations. 

He created companies like IBD Group in Dubai, offering a vast range of services for the development of sports businesses (especially analysis tools).

In over 20 years, Paolo Urfer has assembled a network of expert collaborators and at the same time has become a leading element in the business of international football. His passion is discovering methods of management and innovative technologies to analyze the football market and all the management of a Football club day by day.

Paolo Urfer is fluent in French, Italian, German, English, Portuguese (Brazilian) and Spanish.
